Sculptures by the sea is an annual art exhibition at the Cottesloe beach in Perth city. Artists from all over the world bring in their sculptures and put them out for display. My family and I have gone each year, since moving to perth and its definitely an event I look forward to every time.
My favourite sculpture this year had to be the tree bark with carved faces. It is a true beauty and I really don't think the photograph does it the justice. It is a sculpture that can only be enjoyed and fully appreciated when seen in real life.
There were many more beautiful sculptures, but here are some photographs so just a (very) few of my favourites!
Also if you do live in Perth, or close by, do make a note and definitely check out sculptures by the sea next year.
